'Since' / 'until' without a date
Open-ended temporal sequencing without anchor dates becomes meaningless as the document ages.
What ProfText flags
'Since then' - since when exactly? Unclear reference point.
How to fix it
Add date: 'since Q3 2024' or 'until the v2.0 release'.
Why this matters
'Since the new policy took effect', 'until the rollout completes' both depend on context the reader may have lost. Anchor with the date or a stable reference ('since 1 March 2025', 'until phase 2 ships') so the sequence remains interpretable.
